About First Place Resources
First Place Resources, LLC is based in Bryan, Texas and was incorporated in 2004. Since 2007, First Place Resources has worked with many clients on various projects centered upon improving operational efficiency and implementing technology solutions.
It’s Founder and President, Lance Teinert, is a former chief operations officer and financial services executive. For more than 20 years, Lance has helped develop and expand companies that have consistently grown in terms of size and profitability. His focus on "using technology to improve employee productivity" has proven to be a winning formula...time and time again. This focus has become the philosophy behind the success of First Place Resources, its associates, and its customers.
Our Team
Lance Teinert is the Founder and President of First Place Resources. He has served as the Chief Operations Officer for two nationally recognized loan servicing companies, managing areas involving loan origination, life-of-loan servicing, accounting, finance, customer call center, business development, information technology and system development. Prior to that, Lance was a Retail Banking officer where he oversaw the growth of retail products such as credit card processing, dealer finance and student loans. He has over 20 years of specialty finance managerial experience.
Mike Balogh is a Managing Consultant with First Place Resources and has over 20 years of experience in the student lending industry. While working for one of the nation's largest service providers, Mike focused on guarantor relations, program compliance and servicing operations. In addition, Mike has served as a staff liaison to one of the industry's largest and most prolific trade associations where he focused on aligning operation expectations, identification of system options and development of industry based initiatives. He specializes in program analysis and development of solutions to industry challenges and changes.
Ginger McDougald is a School Relations Consultant with EdAssure and has served students and the financial aid community in various capacities for the past ten years. Ginger has led and implemented marketing initiatives, coordinated issues resolution between internal and external partners, and provided technical and operational support. Her experience has primarily been with a large, regional financial institution where she was involved with regional business development. Ginger has also been involved with various trade associations centered upon financial aid programs and activities.
Misty Mullenbach is a Managing Consultant with First Place Resources and has been in the education finance sector since 1996 where she has served in managerial roles involving business development, project management, training and development, operations and contact center. Her technical skills are centered upon application management and utilization. Having a diverse management background, Misty has worked in various positions within the school, banking and loan servicing community.
